RedRoot SVG Inc. is a grassroots non-governmental organization based in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, committed to empowering and uplifting women and children affected by sexual abuse, domestic violence, and inequality. The organisation was founded by Phylicia Alexander a dedicated social worker, advocate, community activist, and survivor who transformed personal adversity into a powerful movement for change.
What began as small empowerment workshops offering food baskets in exchange for participation has since evolved into a full-scale organization providing vocational training, counseling,HIV & Syphilis Testing, legal aid, shelter, food assistance, back-to-school programs, and literacy initiatives and more. With a strong focus on reaching underserved rural communities, RedRoot SVG ensures that women and children have access to the services, support, and opportunities they deserve.
At its heart, RedRoot SVG is about healing, empowerment, and transformation building stronger, safer communities one life at a time.


Our mission
Our mission is to empower and support women, including LBT women and children who are victims of sexual abuse, violence, and inequality. We do this by providing access to healing, education, skills training, counseling, legal aid, and community outreach programs. Through partnerships, advocacy, and survivor-centered services, RedRoot SVG Inc. is committed to building safer, more just, and more resilient communities across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
